Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage.
Truth and courage aren't always comfortable,
but they are never weakness.
An intro to my upcoming blog post next Tuesday, which features more from the brilliant Brené Brown. If you have never listened to her 20-minute TED talk on The Power of Vulnerability, (one of the top 10 most popular ever!) treat yourself this weekend.
She has given me whole new insights into understanding the importance of allowing myself to be vulnerable.
Instead of it being a sign of weakness or shame (how I always used to feel), owning my vulnerabilities enables me to continually practice opening up towards welcoming and embracing my truest self.
